Kazeem Oladepo Discusses Broadband Infrastructure in West Africa on CNBC Africa

Regional Executive for West Africa, MainOne, Kazeem Oladepo was interviewed on CNBC Africa on Tuesday, 18th September to discuss the state of telecoms infrastructure in West Africa and MainOne’s commitment to deepening broadband access via fibre infrastructure and data centres across West Africa.

He highlighted MainOne’s investments in several infrastructure projects across the region as part of a push to ramp up technology penetration including; data centre builds across West Africa; MainOne’s expansion into Cote D’Ivoire and acquisition of a C1B license to expand national and international connectivity services in Cote D’Ivoire. He spotlighted MainOne’s recent partnership with French Telecoms company, Orange to build two new cable landing stations in Dakar, Senegal and Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire while MainOne provides additional capacity via its 7000km cable system to boost connectivity within the region.
